I had a wonderful dining experience at Osteria della Vittoria. I ordered the red tuna tartare and the prawn catalana — both dishes were absolutely exquisite. The tuna was incredibly fresh and delicately seasoned, while the prawns were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. I paired the meal with two glasses of prosecco, which complemented the seafood perfectly. What truly made the evening special was the warm and genuine hospitality of the owners. They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in and were attentive without being intrusive. Their passion for food and for making guests feel at home really shines through. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic cuisine and a memorable, heartfelt dining experience in Rome. Waiting for our next visit in Rome to see you again !
All the food was perfect! We all tried each other’s dishes… and loved every single one of them. The vitello and linguine were standouts for me, but the carbonara was also the best i’ve ever tasted. We pigged out on desserts too, and they were all so fresh and delicious.
Last night in Rome, threw a Party here for 8, outstanding steak, hands down best Caprese in Rome, very good pastas, service very personable, modern decor, 40-50€ per person with appetizer, main dish, desert and wine.
A Culinary Love Letter to Rome: Osteria Della Victoria After a sweeping journey through Italy—from the timeless ruins of Rome to the rolling vineyards of Tuscany, the winding canals of Venice, and the cliffside splendor of the Amalfi Coast—I found myself craving one thing above all: a return to Osteria Della Victoria. Tucked in a charming corner of Rome, this restaurant is not just a dining destination—it’s a revelation. While Italy is no stranger to unforgettable meals, nowhere else on my travels did I encounter a place with such a perfect balance of elegance, warmth, and culinary artistry. From the moment you step inside Osteria Della Victoria, the ambiance wraps around you like a finely tailored Italian suit: sophisticated yet inviting, with soft lighting, refined décor, and just the right touch of Roman character. You’re not merely a guest—you’re welcomed, and that distinction makes all the difference. The host greets you with genuine hospitality, and the chef doesn’t hide behind kitchen doors—instead, they often step out to explain a dish, recommend a pairing, or simply make sure you’re enjoying every moment. The wine selection is a sommelier’s dream—curated with care, showcasing both renowned labels and local gems that elevate every bite. Speaking of bites—let me tell you about the food. • The meatball cacciatore was a masterclass in comfort and complexity. Rich, savory, and soul-satisfying. • The buffalo mozzarella was impossibly fresh, with a creamy interior that tasted like it had been flown in directly from the heart of Campania. • The beef tartare? Delicate, impeccably seasoned, and a true highlight for any lover of raw preparations. • And the ravioli with lemon sauce and saffron—a dish that sang. Bright, fragrant, and unlike anything I’ve tasted in all of Italy. Each plate at Osteria Della Victoria tells a story. The flavors shift, surprise, and stay with you. It’s not just a meal—it’s a dynamic experience that engages every sense and leaves you wanting more. In all my travels across Italy—Florence, Tuscany, Venice, Positano—not a single restaurant matched the level of quality, intimacy, and attention to detail I found here. Osteria Della Victoria is, without a doubt, the best restaurant in Rome. An essential stop for any traveler who understands that food is not just nourishment, but art, memory, and magic all at once.
We had such a nice experience on our last evening in Rome. Memmo and Cesar were so hospitable and attentive. The food was delicious, flavorful and tasted very fresh. Would highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing! Food excellent, service flawless, atmosphere high-end. If you guys want to try some real Italian food, that’s the best place in Rome. I will definitely come back.
The artichoke and Guanciale pasta here is a masterpiece — perfectly creamy, with just the right amount of pepper that wakes up your taste buds without overpowering. It's simple but cooked with real expertise. I also tried their beef tartare, fresh and finely seasoned, a perfect balance of textures and flavors. Every bite felt like the chef's personal touch. The atmosphere is cozy and refined, with that special warmth only a family-run place can offer. I left feeling full in every way — of food, and of good vibes.
